Thousands attended this year's annual event and were treated to a beautiful day of Carolina blue sky and comfortable temperatures. A team of Budweiser Clydesdales also joined us this year to demonstrate their grace and power. And once again, the South Carolina Skydiving team performed their customary jumps from 1 mile above the earth and Miss Caitlin Michelle Felkela, a senior at Calhoun Academy, was crowned 2009 Miss Elloree. Reckinso, a 3yr old thoroughbred, owned and trained by Webb Carroll and rode by the legendary rider, Cody Durr, was winner of the 2009 Elloree Cup. All in all it was another great day for picnicking, tailgating, reunions and family fun. Over 6000 participants showed up to view and enjoy this event.?
