46th Running of the Elloree Trials Attracts Huge Turnout

Thousands attended this year’s annual event and were treated with wonderful Carolina blue skies and comfortable room temperatures. Skydivers entertained 1 mile from above the earth, a new Miss Elloree was crowned, and lots of horse racing took place followed by the crowning of Loveyouintheworld, this years 2008 Thoroughbred Elloree Cup winner. It was perfect day for picnicking, tailgating, reunions and family fun. Over 6000 participants showed up to view and enjoy this event.
